How to create a free Minecraft server

How to create a free minecraft server for java and pocket editions of the game. You will need a free server software called Mine Hut in order to do this, and it allows up to 10 people to access your server. If you prefer to host your own server, you can use a file alongside port forwarding on your computer to do so.
Create a mine hut account
Open the Mine Hut website. Go to https://minehut.com/ in your internet browser.
Click on ( Get Started )You can find it in the middle of the page.
Click I don't have an account
Enter an email address and date of birth.
Tick both boxes. Doing so will ensure that you are over the age of 13 and that you are willing to accept the Mine Hut Terms of Use.
Click Continue. You can find it at the bottom right of the form.
Check email.
Open your email inbox.
Click the Mine Hut account verification mail from "Information".
Check your spam folder if you don't see this message.
See the five-code in the body of the email.
Enter the five-digit code in the "Verify" text box on the Mine Hut page.
Click Continue. The code will be applied, and if it is correct you will go to the password generation page.
Enter a password. Type your preferred password in the "Choose a password" text box.
Click Continue. Doing so will create your Mine Hut account and take you to the server creation page.
Setting up your server :
1 - Enter the server name. Type a simple name for your server's domain in the text field in the middle of the page.
Server name must not exceed 10 characters.
The server name cannot contain special characters, symbols, or spaces.
2 - Click the "Choose Server Type" drop-down menu. You'll find it below the text field, and clicking on it will bring up a drop-down menu.
3 - Choose the type of server. Choose Java in the dropdown menu if you want to use the server for the PC version or the Pocket Edition if you want it for mobile users.
If you click on Pocket Edition and receive a notification that the Pocket Edition servers are currently down, you cannot create a Pocket Edition server at that time.
Your server cannot be used on the platform versions of Minecraft nor can it be connected to it from the Windows 10 version.
4 - Click Create. You'll find it under Server type, and doing so will create your server.
Click on the Home tab. You'll find this option at the top left of the page.
Alternatively, you may need to refresh the page by clicking an icon ⟳ in the browser window or click a button F5 on the keyboard.
Click Activate Server. It's a purple button in the middle of the page. Doing so will launch your server, at which point you can modify the settings and connection.
Change server settings :
Select your server address. In the Server Status window on the right side of the page, look at the heading to the right of the 'Connect' heading.
Understand the limits of the server. Your Mine Hut server is free as long as you use the maximum number of players available, which is 10.
If you want to add more than 10 players to a single server, you will need to pay for that. You can do this by clicking on server properties on the left side of the page, then clicking on maximum players, choosing a level, clicking save and entering your payment information.
Set the appearance of the server. Click on the Server Appearance tab on the left side of the page and set any of the following: [1]
Server Domain - Allows you to change the domain name used to connect to the server.
Server Description - Allows you to change the server description.
Server Visibility - Allows you to choose whether you want the server to be public or unlisted. If the server is not listed, you will need to invite people to the server by sending them the server link.
Change the server properties. Click on server properties on the left side of the page, then adjust any settings by clicking on a category tab and then choosing your preferences there.
For example: To disable the PVP option, click on PVP then enable or disable and finally click on save.
See world settings. Click on world settings on the left side of the page and then check the available settings.
You can add a custom world stub by editing the line of text in the 'world stub' section.
You can save or delete the world as is by clicking on either save world or reset world.
See the file manager. Click on File Manager on the left side of the page and then see the list of server folders. Here you will be able to upload save files and other game information as needed.
Do not modify any files or folders here unless you are absolutely sure of their functionality.
Connect to the server :
Leave the main server panel. This will allow you to quickly modify the server by minimizing the minecraft window and maximizing the browser window.
Minecraft opened. Double-click the application icon and then click Play at the bottom of the launcher window when it appears.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition, just click on the Minecraft app icon that looks like a clay cube.
Click on Team Play. You can find it near the middle of the page.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition, click Play and then the Servers tab.
Click on Direct Connect. You'll find this option at the bottom right of the page.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition, tap Add Server at the top of the screen.
Enter the server address. Type the server address that was listed next to "Contact" in the text box in the middle of the page.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition, you'll enter both the server name and the domain in the 'server name' and 'server address' text boxes respectively.
Click Join Server. You'll find it at the bottom of the page, and doing so will connect you to the server and put you in its world.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition, tap Play instead.
